Homes for Heroes San Diego deployed all day Tuesday, July 3rd and into the wee hours of the night spreading a little patriotism for this 4th of July 2012! Homes for Heroes San Diego visited neighborhoods in Mira Mesa, San Diego, Tierrasanta, and Chula Vista. Hundreds of flags were placed on each home’ front lawn. We had an amazing response. The best part of it was the cars driving by waving and honking AND the neighbors coming out of their homes to shout, “THANK YOU!” We look forward to doing it again next year. Hopefully on a bigger scale.

Homes for Heroes San Diego would like to honor our brave men and women this Veterans Day! Veterans Day is intended to honor and thank all military personnel who served the United States in all wars, particularly living veterans.
This Veterans Day, Homes for Heroes San Diego reminds you to thank a soldier. We are lucky to live in San Diego and lucky to live amongst thousands of soldiers who have served overseas. When you see a soldier walking this week, remember how brave they have acted in fighting for your freedom. Show your bravery, by walking up to them and thanking them for what they have done and what they continue to do!
